I Its major functions are: According to the adjustment of functions， the major functions of Jining Municipal Tourism Administration are 1 To execute national and provincial policies， regulations and plans for the development of tourism industry， formulate administrative rules and regulations for the industry and supervise their implementation. 2 To draw up and guide municipal development regulation and plan， undertake external publicity of our tourism and major sales promotion activities， organize and provide guidance to market development of important tourism products. 3 To cultivate and improve the domestic tourism market， study and formulate strategies and methods for developing domestic tourism and organize its implementation; guide the tourism in the counties. 4 To be in charge of the general investigation of tourism resources of the municipal; to provide guide for the planning， development， and construction of the important tourism areas; to guide the municipal tourism for the use of foreign investments and social investments; To be in charge of municipal tourism statistics; To provide guidance to the construction of municipal tourism information net. 5 To execute the national and provincial facility standards and service standards of scenic spots， holiday resort， hotels， travel agencies， tourist vehicles， boats and ships and special tourist programs; To be in charge of the examination and verification of travel agencies dealing with international tourist businesses; To be in charge of the examination and approval of domestic travel agencies of municipal and counties; to organize and guide the locating of tourist facilities; to provide guidance to the implementation of holiday resorts and other important tourist construction programs. 6 To execute the national policies of traveling abroad， traveling to Hong Kong Special Administrative Zone， Marco Special Administrative Zone， Tai Wan region and other cross-boundary traveling. To be in charge of the examination and verification， submitting of traveling institutes run by Hong Kong Special Administrative Zone， Marco Special Administrative Zone， Tai Wan region in our municipal; to organize cooperation and exchange with foreign countries. 7 To supervise and examine the order and service quality of tourist market; to accept complains of the tourists; to protect the legal rights of the tourists. 8 To supervise and implement national and provincial regulation for profession qualification and grade regulation of the tourism staff; to guide and organize tourism education and training. 9 To undertake other works assigned by the municipal Party committee and municipal government.
