The teahouse industry in Jining started to prosper as far back as the Ming and Qing Dynasties.During that time，teahouse became dietributed all over the territory of Jining.Among them， there were more than ten large-scale ones. Nowadays， drinking tea is a popular activity for urban dwellers. The most famous teahouses in Jining are the Taibai Teahouse by the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the Boyi Tea Village. In the teahouse， you can watch the performance of Beijing opera and folk arts while tasting the fragrant tea.
