The musical performance is a reproduction of a musical play from the ancient State of Lu . The musical instruments ，including bianzhong(chime bells)， bianqing(series of L-shaped stone or jade plates)，jiangu(drum)，zheng(an ancient plucked instrument with 21 of 25 strings)，paisheng (reed pipe wind instrument with a keyboard) ，xiao(a vertical bamboo flute) ，and flute ，in addition to the moving theatrical dancing，vividly reproduce scenes of daily life and work， going out in the spring， heading off to distant battles， celebrations， and sacrifices of the ancient State of Lu.
Tip: The performance is given at the Chongsheng Temple in the Confucian Temple every morning.
