Cemetery of Mencius’s Mother

　　The Cemetery of Mencius’s Mother is constructed to commemorate Mencius’ parents and some of their descendants. It is also a man-made garden that has lasted from the Warring States Period (475-221 B.C.) to the present day. The cemetery， covering an area of 578 mu (38.5 hectares)， provides home to some 13，000 trees， among which the peculiar-type ancient junipers are most famous.
